Higher Up is a local nonprofit that serves current and graduated Hightstown High School students, including those who are under-resourced, by coordinating meaningful summer jobs and career-essential internships.  Robust readiness and support programs – including resume writing and interview coaching, business etiquette and wardrobe basics, personal finance and wellness, motivational speakers and dedicated student-partner coordinators – ensure that students can thrive in their individualized placements and benefit from the opportunities that their work experience opens to them.

At Higher Up, we are determined for students to feel confident in their honed skills, experientially on-par with their peers and excited about reaching towards their futures. Of equal importance to us is for hometown businesses, skilled tradespeople and corporations, volunteers, sponsors and donors to feel proud and socially responsible when committing to the growth and development of local students – and come to truly share in their success.
